  • Patriotic March to Palmar Bonito:

It takes place from the 1940s to the present day and constitutes a custom that pays tribute to February 24. Uprising at Finca La Sirena on the 24th and combat in Palmar Bonito on February 26, 1895 led by José Lázaro Marín Marrero.

  • Deceased faithful in Agramonte:

Rite that is performed on November 2, the day of the faithful departed, the people massively go to the cemetery during the day to put flowers on the graves and at night and at night to light candles and be with their dead. This rite is performed in few places in Cuba.

  • Peasant music

Several Spanish tunes are maintained that are sung in peñas peñas, guateques and popular festivals with deep roots in the community.

  • Saint John festivity

In Agramonte a similar ceremony is held but dedicated to Owum. It starts in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood on June 24 at 3pm.

  • Tradition of crafts

Dozens of artisans who dedicate themselves to assembling in wood, as well as dolls, fabrics and other crafts.
