Early childhood has 5 children's circles, 3 in Jagüey (Angolan Brothers, Rayitos de Libertad and Zapaticos Blancos); 1 in Torriente (Citrus Orange Blossoms) and 1 in Agramonte (Pinitos de la Infancia); In addition, by popular councils they carry out activities of the program Educate your child together with the community and the FMC.

Primary education has a total of 31 pioneer groups, 12 urban and 19 rural, with 4,081 students; Basic secondary is another of the municipality's teachings with a total of 1,592 pioneers in 8 educational centers; 756 students are studying higher education and 722 in professional technical education and 622 in adults.
